Watch Melancholia Online
Deep Impact and Armageddon are two of the most famous end of the world movies of all time that have moved people from every part of the world. These movies came about around the late 1990s when prophesies about the end of the world were very popular. When you watch Melancholia online, you would realize that this seemingly romantic film (if we will base it on the title) is actually another end of the world movie. When you watch Melancholia online, it will be revealed to you that Melancholia is actually the name of a planet that is moving in a collision course towards the planet Earth.
If I would not be able to see the movie in the actual theatre, I would most definitely watch Melancholia online. There is no way for me to miss this movie. According to critics, when you watch Melancholia online, you would know that the movie is about a girl who is about to get married. The reception is sponsored by the bride’s rich sister. During the reception, all hell breaks loose when the bride’s mother vented out her feelings in her speech. All these events happen while the planet Melancholia is heading towards the planet Earth.
Deciding to watch Melancholia online, people might consider seeing the trailers first. For me, the trailers are not that catchy. I am thinking maybe this is supposedly an art film. This might be the kind of movie that conveys messages other than what is obviously shown. Those who would watch Melancholia online might want to observe the possible symbolism of a huge planet hitting Earth and the chance that it happened during the wedding of the protagonist.

The movie stars Kirsten Dunst as Justine (the manic-depressive bride), Alexander Skarsgaard as the groom, Charlotte Gainsbourg as Justine’s sister Claire, Keifer Sutherland as Claire’s husband, Charlotte Rampling and John Hurt as Justine’s parents.
To be honest, there were a couple of negative reviews were written about the movie which made me lean towards just seeing the movie online. I wanted to just watch Melancholia online because two critics agreed on the story’s sadness. One of the critics said that the movie is not very bad. It is just sad. The critic ventured that this might be an after effect of Von Trier’s sickness. It was mentioned that the same author wrote a movie while he was bed-ridden. The film titled Anticrist was written by Von Trier while he was suffering from a disease. And as a result, Anticrist conveyed a general feeling of sadness and desperation. This might also be the case with Melancholia, suggested the critic.
The general agreement among the reviews that I have read is that the movie is not that exciting (in other words boring). Most of them are using humour in suggesting that the movie, like the world will also come to an end. I could actually say the same basing on the trailers that I saw. Unfortunately, none of the scenes in the trailer triumphed in catching my attention. Even the background music is a little sad.
